Madison High East Coast Historical Tour
Madison High School is sponsoring an East Coast Historical Tour from March 29 to April 7, 2018. This 9-day 8-night tour includes stops in Washington DC, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. We will be touring the Holocaust Memorial Museum and meeting a Holocaust survivor. We will be touring the US Capitol, Smithsonian Museums, and other monuments as well as traveling south to Jefferson’s home at Monticello. The students will also participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery. In Pennsylvania we will visit Gettysburg and Independence Hall, to see the Liberty Bell before going enjoying a meal in Amish Country. Our final stop will be in New York City where we will see a Broadway Play, visit the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island, and enjoy the lights of Times Square.
The cost of this tour is $1995.00 per person. This cost includes all air and bus travel from Rexburg to the East Coast and back. It also includes all hotel expenses, breakfast each morning, and meals at Monticello, Gettysburg, and with the Amish in Pennsylvania.
The cost of the tour is divided into two $675.00 payments due on October 25 and January 25, with a final payment of $645.00 due on February 25.
