Dear Parents. The Madison School District Transportation Team has been working diligently to streamline our operations to better serve the district and our students. We plan to eliminate the need for students to transfer buses to get to their destinations by providing direct bus routes where your student will have the same driver both morning and afternoon. We have successfully achieved this goal and had planned to start the new bus routes upon returning from Christmas Break. However, we experienced some unforeseen circumstances with transferring the old route data, and parent information for the app to the new routes. Because of this, we feel it is in our best interest to delay the rollout of the new bus routes until the start of the 2024/2025 school year in August, to avoid creating problems with the parent app, or conflicting route information. Thank you all for your understanding in this matter, as our primary goal is to transport your students safely while providing a user-friendly parent app solution with correct and up-to-date information. Hello! We have recently changed the front face of our Website. With the changes, we have moved information around a bit. All important information previously on the site is still there including new additions and upgrades to some pages. Today there were a few instances of links not working. We notified our service team and the problems should be resolved. For user simplicity, we have combined information and removed some tabs/buttons. Parents/Students/Staff buttons have upgraded pages with easily accessible links and information. All information that pertains to these groups will be on their respective page (examples: logins, forms, resources, training videos). While the bulk of the website is updated, there is still work to be done. We appreciate your patience while we complete the changes. All important information and links are currently accessible during this "construction". There will be a total of 4 presentations during the series spread out over the remaining months of the school year. We are excited to bring this to you and our district! The City of Rexburg has sent out their Holiday Activity Guide! There are so many fun activities listed for families and friends! Check out the bucket list and coloring page contest for a chance to win a prize! Our MHS Choir will be performing at the Tabernacle on Monday the 27th (itermittently) from 6-8 pm, and we will also have two Christmas concerts in December! Times: M-TH 10:30am-6:00pm Friday 10:30am-4:00pm Location: 290 N 1st E (enter through the North end of the Building) Proceeds used for Food Services Employee Training and local Secret Santa Programs.

Want to get certified in Youth Mental Health First Aid? This FREE course teaches adults, who regularly interact with young people, how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use challenges. This training gives participants the skills needed to reach out and provide initial help and support to youth who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a mental health crisis (e.g. suicidal ideation). This course provides participants with a certificate upon completion and participants are certified as MHFA first responders for three years. The next course will be taught by Travis Schwab and Creshel Hill, and will be held Wednesday, November 15 and Thursday, November 16 from 4:30 pm until 8:30 pm both days. This is a two-day course, and attendance is required all 8 hours to receive certification. Registration is required. Hello! Does your child enjoy reading or listening to audiobooks? Sora is a free app and resource for audiobooks, ebooks, and read-along books for all students and employees in the district. Sora is a digital library, so you "check out" books for two weeks at a time with an option to renew, or you can put a book on hold if it is "checked out" to someone else. A book with simultaneous checkouts means that an unlimited number of people can check it out at the same time. Artie and the Wolf Moon will be available on Sora for simultaneous use in ebook and audiobook formats between November 2-16th. Checkouts will be simultaneous, which means no holds!

Attention!!! The Bobcat Fieldhouse will be closed this Friday night (October 20) for the Rigby/Madison Varsity football game. We are expecting a full house with limited parking and a very busy campus. The fieldhouse will still be open as normal the morning of. Thanks!

Congratulations to our Seniors Haden Weekes (VB Team Manager) and Ashley Garner!! To top off a great night of celebration, all three Madison teams won 3-0 against Highland!! We have amazing talent within these teams. It's a great day to be a Bobcat! 🐾 #wearemadison
