Hi Everyone!
Just a reminder that the Bobcat Fieldhouse will be closed to the public tomorrow (Friday) night, May 5th for a school activity. It will still be open in the AM that day. Thanks!

Our HS tennis team has had a fantastic season so far! We are heading into District Championships next week (Wednesday and Friday) with our top groups for singles, doubles, and mixed! Here are some recent highlights from their tournaments:
At the Gate City Pocatello Tournament, they had kids in the finals for 8 out of 12 events and won three championships!!
This past weekend at the Capital Invite in Boise, they finished 5th overall out of 32 teams and had the highest finish in our area. The best finish was our Girls #1 doubles team that finished 4th. Boys doubles #1 and #2 and Girls #2 went undefeated in pod play
Good luck on your games coming up (Today, Tomorrow-final home match against Highland, Thursday, and next week at the District Championships Bobcats!

Last week was the Madison Band Annual Chili Cook-Off! Families ate and enjoyed the various Madison jazz bands that played. Our wonderful teachers (Michael Peterson , Susanna Blackwood and Steve Klingler) conducted and even sang along. It was such a fun night and the music was beautiful! Thank you to all those that helped put this on and to the talented Bobcats that played 🐾 #wearemadison

Mrs. Grover’s all girls workout class (Body Sculpting at MHS) just completed their final day of R.A.D. (Rape Aggression Defense). R.A.D. is a defense system designed for women and girls. Beginning with awareness, prevention, risk reduction, and avoidance, R.A.D. educates and trains woman how to defend themselves against sexual assault. The classes are taught by officers who are trained and certified to teach. Two years ago, Mrs. Grover and her 12 year old daughter took R.A.D., so she could experience it for herself. She quickly learned that these were important skills that she wanted her girls class to have. With the help of the High School resource officer and two other officers, this has become part of the Body Sculpting curriculum offered in the first and third trimesters.
(Officer Bovie has been involved with R.A.D. for 12 years, Officer Noel- 10 years, and Officer Frei- 3 years. Officer Boivie’s wife, Marnie, is also certified and helps with the class when she’s available. She has been involved with R.A.D. for 10 years.) Thank you for the time and commitment in teaching our students how to protect themselves. #wearemadison
