Bradee Klassen was nominated and received the IATA (Idaho Agriculture Teachers Association) Administrator of the Year award. There are well over 100 ag programs in the state and he came out on top. "Bradee has been our biggest advocate and our biggest supporter forever.  This current year is no exception.  We received over 100k dollars to make repairs to ventilation, buy new equipment, and upgrade classrooms all because he listens to our needs and helps us prioritize these improvements." - Pat Dixon   Bradee exemplifies exceptional leadership and dedication to both agriculture and the school community in his Administrative position. Many have said that he is one of the most supportive administrators that they have ever had. Fun Fact: Often called the "Grill Master" He was instrumental in preparing 180 lbs of tri-tip roast for the school’s first scholarship auction. Bradee leads with a team mentality, emphasizing support for teachers to enhance school performance. Deeply involved in the ag program and FFA, he participates in events and supports students in competitions. Known for his personal engagement, Bradee puts effort into building connections with the 1,400 students at the HS. He, along with the other Admin at the school, supports students' interests, making a significant impact on the school community.  Congratulations Principal Klassen, we are lucky to have you in our District!! #wearemadison

We are delighted to announce that Bart H. Webster has been honored as the 2023-2024 inductee into the Madison High School Hall of Fame. Bart H. Webster was born and raised in an agricultural pioneering family in Rexburg in 1949. He has been actively engaged in farming pursuits his entire life. While attending Madison County schools, he worked at two local Main Street businesses, where he learned to appreciate Rexburg's culture, values, and community. Webster graduated from Madison High School in 1968, and since that time has worked to foster camaraderie and friendship with those classmates, chairing several class reunions, including the 50th Gala in 2018. Following graduation, he attended Ricks College and graduated from Brigham Young University in 1974. Webster has supported and served in the community, participating in several governing committees, the Rexburg Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and for 20 years on the Board of the Rexburg/Madison County Airport. He was proud to serve on the Centennial Celebration Committee for Madison County in 2013. Professionally, Webster served in the Potato Growers of Idaho and for six years on the National Potato Promotion Board. In 2002, he was recognized as Madison County Farmer of the Year by the Chamber of Commerce. Bart married Joanne Evans in 1973. They are parents of four children, 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandson. They are happy to have raised their family in this valley and are proud of their BOBCAT roots! The MHS Legacy committee is looking for nominations for this year's Alumni Hall of Fame Award If you know someone deserving of this prestigious recognition, please visit our website for nomination details: https://mhslegacy.weebly.com/ #wearemadison

Dave Reeser took his Advanced Holocaust and Genocide Studies class on a field trip to Boise to learn from volunteers from the Wassmuth Center at the Anne Frank Memorial. They also went to the Minidoka Japanese-American Internment Camp near Burley to see where Americans were deprived of their Civil Rights at the same time the Holocaust was happening. What an experience to have! It is wonderful that our students in the District have opportunities like this. Thank you for sharing this Mr. Reeser! #weareadison
