November Attendance H.E.R.O.'s!
(Here Everyday On Time)
Great work students!

We loved the Upper Valley Women's Choir Christmas Concert. They brought the Christmas spirit to Hibbard.

Tomorrow is the first Cook Center for Human Connection presentation! Please check your email or copy this link -https://cookcenter.info/Dec7MSD to register (it is FREE, but you do need to register to get the link). Once you register, an email will be sent to you with a link to join the live presentation.
The first topic in our mental health series is "Helping Your Child Succeed - 3 Parenting Styles."
The presenter will be Dr. Kevin Skinner, LMFT, CSAT, and EMDR.
Learn practical ways you can improve parental warmth which is one of the key areas of principle-based parenting. Children who experience parental warmth are found to be more creative, experience less depression, and have healthier self-esteem.
Parents will learn:
- Parental Warmth
- Behavioral Control
- Monitoring Behaviors
- Psychological Control
If you have registered ahead of time and are unable to watch it on December 7th, you will be able to use the link provided to you and watch the presentation at your convenience.
Please join us for this exciting opportunity!

Thank you to our awesome 4th graders for representing Hibbard Elementary at Zions Bank today. Students decorated the tree in the Zions Bank lobby with ornaments made by all of our students. They also sang Christmas carols and enjoyed treats provided by Zions Bank. Thank you to Zions Bank for providing our school with this opportunity.

We are decking the halls at Hibbard Elementary! Each student created an ornament to decorate our school Christmas tree. It's beginning to look at lot like Christmas in our school.

Save these dates! Our wonderful Orchestra groups will be performing on the dates listed in the picture. We can not wait to hear the beautiful music they will be performing! #wearemadison

Hello!
We have recently changed the front face of our Website. With the changes, we have moved information around a bit. All important information previously on the site is still there including new additions and upgrades to some pages. Today there were a few instances of links not working. We notified our service team and the problems should be resolved.
For user simplicity, we have combined information and removed some tabs/buttons. Parents/Students/Staff buttons have upgraded pages with easily accessible links and information. All information that pertains to these groups will be on their respective page (examples: logins, forms, resources, training videos). While the bulk of the website is updated, there is still work to be done. We appreciate your patience while we complete the changes. All important information and links are currently accessible during this "construction". If you have any questions regarding the new look of the website or navigating it, please contact us at wearemadison@msd321.com.

Thank you to the Madison Soil Conservation District for providing bus grants to our 4th grade classes. Because of these bus grants our 4th graders were able to go on a field trip to Big Springs and Mesa Falls in September. Students then created presentations with Power Points to present to the Madison Soil Conservation District this week.

Mrs. Holt's 4th grade class made boats in their STEAM class. They wanted to see how much weight their boats could hold so they added marbles. One team even made a motor for their boat. Pretty impressive 4th grade!

Shout out to our 3rd graders for doing such a beautiful job honoring our Veteran's.

Hello!
Does your child enjoy reading or listening to audiobooks?
Sora is a free app and resource for audiobooks, ebooks, and read-along books for all students and employees in the district. Sora is a digital library, so you "check out" books for two weeks at a time with an option to renew, or you can put a book on hold if it is "checked out" to someone else. A book with simultaneous checkouts means that an unlimited number of people can check it out at the same time. Artie and the Wolf Moon will be available on Sora for simultaneous use in ebook and audiobook formats between November 2-16th. Checkouts will be simultaneous, which means no holds!

Author Chad Morris shared an amazing message today with Hibbard 4th graders about being observant and kind. #WeAreMadison

Thank you to all of our sponsors for the Jog-a-thon!!!! Also, thank you to the students for doing awesome and to all who made pledges and donations.

Superintendent Randy Lords is excited to meet with the wonderful families in our District. You can expect to learn more about the future of Madison School District, ask questions, and discuss important topics. If we are not able to cover your specific question during the meeting, please know the door is always open and you can reach out via phone or email. We look forward to seeing you!

Hello parents and students! This is a list of dates to keep in mind this week. You should have already received all notices regarding late start/ parent-teacher conferences from your school. If you have not, or you have any further questions, please contact the school Admin Assistant and they will be able to help you out further. If you are not receiving texts/emails, please make sure your information is updated correctly.
*Buses will run all morning routes 1 hour and 15 minutes later than normal pick-up time. Middle school students will be picked up from their scheduled bus stop and dropped off directly at the high school for the performance. They will then be shuttled back to the middle school afterward.
